VIBRO-DRIVING

Generally known as «vibratory pile driving», the use of vibration to drive vertical elements into the ground (sections, tubes, sheet piles) has become widely deployed in public works. Vibratory pile driving of a rigid element into the ground requires a vibrator and a guidance system.


TYPES OF MEASUREMENT

The instrumentation on the job site simply, reliably and accurately controls, measures and records :

  • Depth.
  • Inclination.
  • Hydraulic pressure.
  • Vibration frequency and amplitude.
  • Soil particle speed.

 


THE INSTRUMENTS

The BAP160, the LT3 / CL88 and the DIALOG are measurement and recording instruments used in vibratory pile driving applications. Housed in sturdy rustproof metal casings, they are sealed against runoff water.
 
 


THE SENSORS

Specific sensors are used to record the different parameters applicable to the vibratory pile driving process. Depth is recorded by the P80, vibration amplitude and frequency by the V16AF50, hydraulic pressure by the C16400, inclination by the IA1620, particle speed by the TRI16 and slurry flow rate and pressure by the EDHxx + C1650 + SP100.

  


THE SOFTWARE

The EXEVA and EXEVH software is used for data application purposes; it generates and provides a simple display of the various parameters.
